HFC-227ea Fire Suppression System
The Fireguard iQ Series Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing System uses HFC-227ea, a colorless, non-toxic gas ideal for protecting high-value assets in occupied spaces. It leaves no residue, requires no clean-up, is electrically non-conductive, and is well suited to areas where storage space is limited.
Each system consists of storage components (cylinder assembly and bracket), distribution components (discharge nozzles and piping), and trim components (fittings, pressure gauge, valve actuators) needed to introduce the agent into the protected hazard. Multi-cylinder arrangements are supported via slave components (pneumatic actuators, bleed valve, pilot hose), with up to 7 cylinders (1 primary + 6 slave) in a single arrangement. A control panel monitors actuators, detectors, cylinder pressure, and manual release/abort stations.
Key Features:
- Non-toxic, non-conductive, residue-free clean agent — safe for occupied spaces
- Discharges within 10 seconds, minimizing formation of Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) byproduct
- Compatible with common metals, rubber, plastic, and electronics
- Anti-recoil safety device fitted as standard on the cylinder valve
- Supports single or multi-cylinder (slave) arrangements via manifold configuration
- Available with 360° radial (8-port) or 180° sidewall (8-port) discharge nozzles
Key Specs:
- Cylinder: Lightwalled, welded seam, manufactured to TPED requirements, vertical mount only
- Nominal Working Pressure: 25 or 42 Bar

Note: HFC-227ea discharge may briefly reduce visibility and can cause frostbite on skin contact with liquid or escaping vapor. The MSDS should be read prior to handling, and NFPA 2001 human exposure guidelines should be followed.
HIGH VELOCITY NOZZLE
High Velocity Water Spray Nozzles are internal swirl plate type open nozzles designed for use in fixed water spray or deluge systems for fire protection. These nozzles produce a solid, uniform, dense core of high velocity water spray to cool surfaces and support fire extinguishment. They are typically used for deluge protection of special hazards such as oil-filled transformers, switch-gear, chemical process equipment, conveyor systems, and flammable liquid storage areas.
Available in brass (HV-AS) or stainless steel (HV-BS) construction, the nozzles feature an inbuilt strainer and can be oriented in any position as needed to cover the hazard. A pressure of 3.5 to 7 bar at the nozzle is recommended for effective high velocity water delivery and rapid extinguishment by emulsification.
Key Specs:

When ordering, please specify Model, K-Factor, Spray Angle, and Finish.
HORIZONTAL END SUCTION PUMP
NFPA 20 - Standard for the installation of Stationery Pumps for Fire Protection defines End suction pumps as follows: “A single suction pump having its suction nozzle on the opposite side of the casing from the stuffing box and having the face of the suction nozzle perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shaft” The water flowing through an End suction pump makes a 90-degree radial turn from suction to discharge. FIREGUARD offers FGES series state-of-the-art End Suction Pumps with Diesel Engine or Electric Motor driven single stage pumps FIREGUARD PUMPS are engineered with a dynamically balanced and enclosed impeller. The complete bearing assembly including impeller and casing cover can be dismantled without removing the volute casing from the pipe system. End Suction Pumps are better when the water source is located above ground providing a positive suction pressure FIREGUARD PUMPS are typically used in firefighting applications for supplying water to the fire hose reels, fire hydrants or sprinkler systems. FIREGUARD PUMPS have a FLOW range from 50 to 750 US GPM and Pressure ratings from 80 PSI up to 300 PSI
HORIZONTAL SPLIT CASE PUMP
A horizontal split case pump is a unique type of Centrifugal Pump whose casing is divided into two distinct chambers, which is different from end suction pumps that are assembled with the suction nozzle, discharge nozzle and casing in one chamber. FIREGUARD offers FGSF series state-of-the-art Split Case Pumps with Diesel Engine or Electric Motor driven pumps FIREGUARD PUMPS are engineered with fully enclosed double suction impellers. Minimal axial thrust due to double entry impeller. In-line axially split design which permits removed of the complete rotor without removing the pipe and driver. Input Module IQ611M
The IQ611M is an intelligent addressable input module designed to monitor a single dry contact device within a fire alarm system. Taking one address on the Signalling Line Circuit (SLC) or Data Communication Link (DCL), it provides fully supervised input monitoring with continuous open line and ground fault detection — suitable for a wide range of initiating devices and auxiliary contacts.
Configurable Input Functionality The input contact type is fully configurable via the FACP attribute interface, allowing the IQ611M to operate as an alarm, supervisory, trouble, or monitor input. A red LED provides clear status indication, turning on steady when an event is active. Alarm events latch until a panel reset command is received; supervisory and monitor functions are selectable as latched or non-latched; trouble is non-latched.
End-of-line resistor wiring is required for full line supervision, with the compatible EOLR being the IQ622 (10K Ohms).

Taking one address on the Signalling Line Circuit (SLC) or Data Communication Link (DCL), it enables the fire alarm control panel to activate and monitor auxiliary devices such as door holders, dampers, fans, and other controlled building systems.
Comprehensive Line Supervision Both the input and output lines are fully supervised. The input monitors for open line and ground faults, while the output monitors for open lines, short-circuit faults, ground faults, and external 24VDC power source loss — providing a high level of system integrity and fault detection.
Intuitive LED Status Indication A red LED provides continuous, differentiated status feedback. During normal operation it blinks every 4 seconds; a longer blink indicates an active output event; two quick blinks indicate active feedback — making it easy to distinguish between output activation and feedback conditions at a glance.

Isolator Module IQ611MI
The IQ611MI is an intelligent short-circuit isolator module designed to protect the integrity of the Signalling Line Circuit (SLC) or Data Communication Link (DCL) in addressable fire alarm systems. When a short-circuit fault is detected on the loop, the module's internal relay automatically disconnects the affected segment, containing the fault and preserving communication with all other devices on the loop.
Automatic Fault Isolation & Recovery Once a short-circuit is detected, the IQ611MI instantly disconnects line power to the trouble point. A yellow LED turns on steady to clearly indicate the fault condition. When the short clears, the internal relay automatically returns to its normal position, restoring line power and turning off the LED — with no manual intervention required.
No Address Required Unlike most addressable modules, the IQ611MI occupies no address on the FACP's SLC/DCL, eliminating the need for address programming and simplifying system design and installation.
