FLOWMETERS
FIREGUARD has wide range of well-engineered flowmeters able to meet the specific needs of different customers. A comprehensive, approved range of innovative and reliable flowmeters are available for use in Fire Pump Testing from GVI and INFLUX are available.
FOAM BLADDER PROPORTION TANK
The Bladder Tank Foam Proportioning System utilizes the water pressure to inject foam concentrate into a water supply and automatically proportions foam concentrate over wide range of flow and pressure, with very low pressure drop. This system does not require concentrate supply pump.
FOAM CHAMBER
Features
- UL Listed
- Heavy duty welded construction with choice of Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel material
- Frangible Glass Vapor Seal
- Controlled Air Flow proportional to liquid flow for optimum foam quality and rupture of vapor seal in narrow pressure tolerances for increased reliability
- Field replaceable orifice plate fitted with Foam Chamber
FOAM CONCENTRATE CONTROL VALVE
Foam concentrate control valve is designed for use in bladder tank foam system or inline balance pressure proportioning system. The valve opens automatically when water supply is established through the inlet pipe of ratio controller of bladder tank or in the inline balance pressure proportioning system. The valve opens at minimum of 3 Kg. (42.8 psi) water pressure. No electric power is required to operate the valve.
FOAM MAKER
Foam Maker is used in one of the most common application to protect tank seal in vertical liquid storage tank with internal floating roof with low expansion foam system. The application of aspirated foam is on the basis of the risk comprising the area in the annular ring between the rim of the floating roof and the tank shell. The Foam system design guidelines generally used are in accordance with NFPA 11 standard. The Foam Makers are defined by NFPA 11 as Type II discharge outlets for delivering the low expansion aspirated foam to the seal. The Foam Makers are widely used with the Inline foam inductor, Balance pressure foam proportioning system, Bladder tank system or Foam tenders.
FOAM WATER SPRINKLER
The Foam-Water Sprinklers are used in the deluge foam system to protect the risk where foam is required to be applied from overhead sprinklers and is to be followed with plain water in a standard sprinkler pattern. Foam-Water Sprinklers protect the loading and unloading area in the event of a spill fire with low expansion foam systems. These are useful in other wide applications i.e. Air Craft Hangers, Warehousing.
FUEL SYSTEM TANK
FIREGUARD single wall or double wall standard construction fire pump fuel system tanks. Tanks and opening are fabricated and tested to the highest standard. Standard NPT fittings and leg brackets configuration as specified. C3 standard painting suitable for residential and commercial environment. High standard C4 painting is optional
GAS DETECTOR
Features
- FIGARO semiconductor sensor heads used for accurate flammable as detection
- Using microprocessor for circuit control and gas monitoring to assure performance stability and reliability
- FG-920-N detects methane gas, FG-920-L detects propane gas in a continuous manner.
- SMT circuit board design with FR4 double sides PCB satisfactory quality and reliability guaranteed
- Test button verifies alarm operation any time
- Sounding a loud alarm signal of exceeding 85 dB at 10ft
- Easy installation and maintenance
- Complying the UL-1484 standard and EN50194
- No battery is required for circuit control
- Ergonomic design of detector casing
Hand Line Foam Branch Pipe
Fireguard‘s hand line foam branch pipe is a hand held nozzle used in all types of low expansion foam systems. It is generally used where the foam is required to be applied manually. The branch pipe is used to protecting loading racks, tank farms, chemical plants, spill fires, etc.
HFC-227ea Fire Suppression System
Fireguard iQ Series Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing System utilizes HFC-227ea as the extinguishing medium. HFC-227ea is a colorless, non-toxic gas perfectly suited to protect high value assets in areas that may be normally occupied, in locations where clean-up of other agents is problematic, when storage space for a fire suppression agent is restricted, or when an electrically non-conductive agent is required.
HIGH VELOCITY NOZZLE
High Velocity Water Spray Nozzles are internal swirl plate type open nozzles designed for use in fixed water spray or deluge system for the fire protection application.
HORIZONTAL END SUCTION PUMP
NFPA 20 - Standard for the installation of Stationery Pumps for Fire Protection defines End suction pumps as follows: “A single suction pump having its suction nozzle on the opposite side of the casing from the stuffing box and having the face of the suction nozzle perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shaft” The water flowing through an End suction pump makes a 90-degree radial turn from suction to discharge. FIREGUARD offers FGES series state-of-the-art End Suction Pumps with Diesel Engine or Electric Motor driven single stage pumps FIREGUARD PUMPS are engineered with a dynamically balanced and enclosed impeller. The complete bearing assembly including impeller and casing cover can be dismantled without removing the volute casing from the pipe system. End Suction Pumps are better when the water source is located above ground providing a positive suction pressure FIREGUARD PUMPS are typically used in firefighting applications for supplying water to the fire hose reels, fire hydrants or sprinkler systems. FIREGUARD PUMPS have a FLOW range from 50 to 750 US GPM and Pressure ratings from 80 PSI up to 300 PSI
