Detector - FG901

0 out of 5

The FG901 DETECTOR series are advanced analogue addressable sensors designed for continuous, intelligent fire monitoring. Featuring a dust-resistant optical chamber, integrated short-circuit isolator, and sophisticated drift compensation technology, they deliver exceptional detection accuracy and long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.

Three Models for Complete Detection Coverage

  • FG901SHD_AP — Combined optical and thermal detector (EN54-5, EN54-7, EN54-17)
  • FG901SD1_AP — Optical smoke detector (EN54-5, EN54-17)
  • FG901HD1_AP — Thermovelocimetric optical detector (EN54-7, EN54-17)

Intelligent Detection Technology The optical models use a dual-transmitter, single-receiver chamber exploiting the Tyndall effect for reliable smoke detection. The multisensor FG901SHD_AP combines optical and thermal detection with a sophisticated algorithm that analyses smoke levels relative to temperature rise, programmable in AND or OR mode for maximum flexibility and false alarm immunity. Thermal detection supports both fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise modes.

Drift Compensation An onboard drift compensation algorithm continuously adjusts for dust and contaminant accumulation in the optical chamber, maintaining the original detection threshold without the need for recalibration.

Continuous Diagnostics Each detector communicates operating conditions, smoke darkening levels, dirt levels, and temperature data directly to the control panel. An onboard event log records the total number of fire alarms and the 5-minute period preceding each alarm — invaluable for post-incident analysis.

Simple Installation Addressing via ONEPROGRAMMER or auto addressing — no DIP or rotary switches. Supports "T" connections. Bases include a short-circuit spring maintaining loop continuity when a sensor is removed, and sensors can be mechanically locked to the base to prevent unwanted removal.

AIR RELEASE VALVE

0 out of 5

Air release valve is used in wet pipe sprinkler systems and on casing of horizontal split case pump, so to automatically release small pockets of accumulated air while the system operates under pressure exceeding atmospheric pressure. Air Release Valves are designed to vent trapped air that collects at high points in a pipeline. These Valves continuously release air from piping systems thereby preventing large air pockets to form which can cause damaging pressure surge to the system. Air release valves permit trapped air to be released from piping systems without losing water pressure. The small orifice releases air under pressure during normal pipeline operation.

AUTOMATIC QUICK RESPONSE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM (AQRS)

0 out of 5

The AQRS is an in-panel, tube-based micro-environment suppression system designed for high-risk enclosed spaces such as electrical panels, server racks, MDBs, and industrial machinery — areas where fires can go undetected until they become too large to control.

The system uses heat-sensitive pneumatic tubing for detection, routed across the protected area. On contact with fire, the tube ruptures at 80°-90°C, triggering discharge of the clean gas-based extinguishing agent directly onto the fire — with no clean-up required, no power supply needed, and safe use on live electrical equipment.

Key Features:

  • Effective on Class A, B, C fires and electrical fires
  • Self-actuated, no power supply required
  • Electronics-friendly, non-conductive, no residue after discharge
  • 24-hour automatic protection, no false activations
  • Single cylinder can protect multiple enclosures via additional tubing

Applications: Electrical Panels & Cabinets, Switching Areas, Server Racks, Printing Press, Mobile Towers, Diagnostic Machines, UPS Rooms

Key Specs:

  • Cylinder Material: Mild Steel / Stainless Steel
  • System Pressure (20°C): 14 bar | Test Pressure: 35 bar
  • Working Temperature Range: -20°C to +70°C
  • Extinguishing Agent: HFC-227ea (C₃HF₇) | Propelling Gas: Nitrogen (N₂)
  • Approvals: UL Listed / FM Approved | EPA: Acceptable

Configurations:

  • Direct System: Tube acts as both detection and delivery — ruptures at the fire location and releases agent directly onto it.
  • Indirect System: Tube acts as detection only — a separate steel conduit with nozzles delivers the agent once triggered.

Product Range:

Agent Quantity (kg) Max. Protected Volume (m³) Configuration
1 1.8 Direct / Indirect
2 3.6 Direct / Indirect
3 5.4 Direct / Indirect
4 7.2 Direct / Indirect
6 10.9 Direct / Indirect

Available in Mild Steel or Stainless Steel cylinders (model codes FGQRH-[qty]-M/S-D/I). Fire detecting tubes are UL-recognized, red (RAL3000), rated -40°C to +80°C, with a minimum 8-year service life.

BEAM DETECTOR FG-BD100

0 out of 5

The FG-BD100 is a high-performance reflective infrared beam detector designed for protecting large open spaces such as warehouses, atriums, sports halls, and industrial facilities. Operating on the principle of infrared beam obscuration via a single reflective mirror, it alerts the fire alarm panel when smoke interrupts the beam path — covering distances from 8 to 100 metres in a single-ended, easy-to-install configuration.

Effortless Alignment What sets the FG-BD100 apart is its exceptionally user-friendly commissioning process. A built-in laser beam pointer identifies the exact mirror mounting location, while a Nixie tube digital display guide shows real-time light intensity between the detector and mirror — making precise alignment straightforward even in large, complex spaces.

Flexible Range & Sensitivity Four selectable beam pathway spans (8–20m, 20–40m, 40–70m, and 70–100m) are configurable via encoder, alongside three adjustable sensitivity settings (2.6 dB, 3.8 dB, and 5.8 dB) to suit different environmental conditions. Automatic compensation continuously corrects for dust contamination, positional drift, and transmitter ageing — maintaining consistent detection performance throughout the product's life.

Key Specifications

  • Operating Voltage: 20–28 VDC
  • Current: Standby 23 mA / Commission 56 mA / Alarm 33 mA
  • Detection Range: 8–100m (4 selectable spans)
  • Sensitivity: 2.6 dB, 3.8 dB, 5.8 dB (selectable)
  • Reset Time: Under 2 seconds
  • Relay Output: Normally open & closed / 2.0A at 30 VDC
