PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES
Fireguard Pressure Regulating Valves have been designed to maintain a uniform firefighting pressure in fire-water mains. Particularly suited for use in High Rise buildings the PRV will ensure that the pressure remains constant irrespective of the location. Pressure regulating valves are suitable for installation on wet risers in buildings for firefighting purposes. PRV can also be utilized in mains were normal pressures can be at an unacceptably high level and beyond the safe operating limits for the use of portable firefighting equipment. PRV will maintain constant, workable pressures when dealing with both high or low pressures making it an extremely versatile addition to any system. Pressure Regulating Valves are manufactured to BS5041 Part 1 ensuring durability and compatibility in harsh environments applications. PRV has a 2h” Instantaneous female outlet with inlet options with threaded or flanged models available. The static outlet pressure of the spring can be set between the following parameters as set out in the table below. The normal factory setting is at 7 bar but this is fully adjustable to suit individual requirements.
