FG901SB / FG901SBFR Sounder Base
The FG901SB series are low-profile loop-powered sounder bases designed to mount directly beneath addressable detectors, combining notification and detection in a single discreet unit. Operating across a wide 16–40V DC input range, they deliver powerful, versatile audible alerting while protruding just 28mm from the ceiling — virtually unnoticeable until it matters most.
Two Models Available
The FG901SB_AP is the standard loop-powered sounder base, offering 32 primary and 32 alternative tones with 4 locally adjustable volume levels and sound output up to 92 dBA. Its acoustically optimised low-profile shape delivers omnidirectional coverage at ultra-low current draw.
The FG901SBFR_AP builds on this with an integrated VAD (Visual Alarm Device) beacon, adding a synchronised LED flash at 0.5Hz for visual notification alongside the audible alarm — ideal for environments requiring combined audible and visual alerting.
