Using photoelectric sensing technology, the IQ651S responds quickly to slow-smouldering fires that conventional detectors may miss. An onboard Microcontroller Unit (MCU) continuously performs self-diagnostic tests, ensuring the detector remains fully operational at all times. Taking a single address on the Signalling Line Circuit (SLC), it reports its precise location and status directly to the fire alarm control panel.
