FIRE ALARM CABLE
The Fireguard FPLR series are UL Listed and CE marked shielded fire alarm cables designed for a wide range of fire protective signalling, initiating, and notification circuit applications. Available in 1.0mm², 1.5mm², and 2.5mm² conductor sizes, they are tested physically and electrically to NEC standards and are fully RoHS compliant — free from restricted metals and hazardous compounds.
Installer-Friendly Design
Legend markings for zones and rooms and E-Z footage marking in ascending and descending order significantly reduce installation time and make circuit identification straightforward throughout the cable run. All cables are supplied on robust reels for easy handling on site.
Versatile Application
Suitable for fire protective signalling circuits, smoke detectors, strobes and sirens, pull stations, voice communications, burglar alarms, audio and control circuits, initiating and notification circuits, and microprocessor/addressable controlled systems.
Construction
- Conductor: Solid bare copper
- Insulation: RoHS-compliant PVC (Blue/Brown colour coding)
- Shielding: Polyester foil + aluminium polyester foil
- Drain Wire: Stranded copper, longitudinally laid for screen continuity
- Jacket: Flame-retardant RoHS-compliant PVC
